An Angel in Disguise

I had the pleasure of capturing an Angel on a summer day in Arlington, VA. In fact what makes the play on words even better is that her name is Angel. A sweet friend I met through a friend who I can honestly say is a joy to be around. Innocence may be the outer look and appeal but what can be revealed is someone who has lived, traveled and knows her heart. We meandered through the streets casually talking, walking and me shooting the random moments that were shared.

Her hair whispered beauty sweetly through the waterfront air. I couldn't help but smile through the encounter not from admiration or attraction but just from having a moment away from the stress and angst trapping me in Baltimore. The opportunity to peer into someone else's life for a moment and enjoy the space and sights. Why did I wait about six months to post this?

Angel was supposed to be the subject of a very concentrated photography project that has been sort of abandoned in thought but someday it may be executed. I guess we all need an Angel in our life, even if it is temporary or fleeting...

Thanks for the opportunity.
