I traveled to Busan this past weekend to Igidae Park and traveled around (up and down) the mountain. A very strenuous expedition in the heat that was ill-prepared for but enjoyable nonetheless. I find that my travels through parks, mountains and more scenic landscapes tend to have other passers by more friendly to my presence. Strangers passing by saying "hello" or "annyeonghaseyo." A view bows, smiles and words and I don't feel like Mutant X but rather just another person in their world of Korea.
I thought it was a generation thing or maybe an older thing but its the older people that greet me more often than the younger. On the contrary, in the town I live in, no one says "hello" or even acknowledges I am a person just stare at me like a circus animal on a tricycle. Anyways, the hike was amazing and I got some wonderful shots from the experience. Hope to show you more, soon!
